Frequently Asked QuestionsHow late are you available?
We don’t keep “banker’s hours” here. If you need a notary late at night, early in the morning, or on a weekend — we’ll work with you. In fact, we’ve completed signings as late as 10 PM on a Sunday. Just reach out and we’ll do our best to fit your schedule.
How far do you travel?
We primarily serve the greater Des Moines area, but we’ve gone as far as the Missouri border for clients when needed. In most cases, there’s a notary closer to you if you’re outside our usual service area — and we’re happy to help you connect with one.
Do I need any witnesses?
It depends on the type of document you’re signing. Some notarizations require one or more witnesses (such as certain wills, powers of attorney, or healthcare directives). If witnesses are needed, we’ll let you know ahead of time so you can be prepared.
What payment types do you accept?
We accept cash, Apple Pay, and PayPal. Payment is due at the time of service.
Do I need to prepare anything before my appointment?
Yes — please have a valid, government-issued photo ID ready. Don’t sign your documents in advance; your signature must be witnessed in person. In some cases, we may ask you to send a photo of your forms ahead of time so we can confirm everything is notarizable.
Can you notarize at hospitals, nursing homes, or care facilities?
Yes. We regularly handle notarizations in hospitals, rehab centers, and nursing homes. If your loved one is in a facility, we recommend calling ahead to make sure they’ll have proper ID and be physically able to sign.
What types of documents can you notarize?
We handle everything from real estate closings and power of attorney forms to affidavits, medical documents, and everyday paperwork. If you’re not sure whether your document can be notarized, just send us a quick message.

How to prepare for your notary appointment:
To make sure everything goes smoothly, please have a valid, government-issued photo ID ready at the time of signing. In some cases, you may be asked to send a photo of your documents beforehand — this helps confirm they’re eligible for notarization and ensures we bring the right notarial certificate with us. Don’t sign anything in advance; your signature must be witnessed in person by the notary.
